The Plymouth Neurological Rehabilitation project at Mount Gould Local Care Centre

United Kingdom

The Plymouth Neurological Rehabilitation Relocation Project at the Mount Gould Local Care Centre is an initiative that has vastly improved patient experience and staff welfare within existing NHS LIFT primary care facilities.

With a total investment of over £8 million, across the entire project, this has enabled services to be relocated and delivered from a safe and modern facility, supporting many patients in the crucial stages of their recovery.

The Mount Gould project serves as an exemplar of how strategic master planning and collaboration between the local health system and private partners can unlock challenges across an aging NHS estate, especially in times where capital funding is constrained, optimise value across existing well maintained NHS LIFT estate and ultimately improve patient care across the local community for many years to come.
