Kajima Partnerships

Community venues are vital pieces of infrastructure. Through the activities within their walls, communities are formed. Despite being the lifeblood of many local areas, these spaces are at risk. This creates an urgent need for these venues to find innovative ways to raise cash using available resources and assets.

Maximising underutilised publicly owned community facilities, such as those in schools and community centres, can generate substantial income while also providing much-needed spaces for activities that improve community inclusion and wellbeing. More importantly, doing this in a modernised way via streamlined booking platforms frees up resources from manual processes, allowing for a greater focus on other pressing demands, such as educating children and arranging essential council services. This approach offers one route towards healthier finances—and, by extension, healthier local communities.

Kajima Community exists to improve the utilisation of our customer’s spaces and increase their profitability by digitally transforming space hire. We operate in three major public sectors: education, local authorities, and healthcare.

The department is made up of over 60 employees across Development, Customer Service and Support, Testing, Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Operations.
