Holly Kirton

Since joining Operis as a graduate in 2017, Holly has established herself as a key member of all three analytical teams and now holds the position of Associate Director. She is widely recognised as a go-to expert in financial modelling and model audit assignments, with extensive experience across a diverse range of infrastructure and energy projects.

Key accomplishments include: • Leading numerous model development assignments, including the refinancing of a portfolio of solar farms in Denmark and the development of an operating model for a regulated gas distribution and supply business in Northern Ireland. • Leading an extensive array of model audit assignments, including for Turkish Hospitals operating models, Norwegian roads, Canadian healthcare facilities, as well as recent high-profile projects such as the Irish Community Nursing Units PPP and the financing of new electric trains for the Main Weser network in Germany. • Contributing to major infrastructure refinancings, such as Sheffield Highways, which reached financial close in 2022. • Assisting in the development of financial models for Rock Rail’s successful bids for the West Coast and East Midlands Franchises, both of which reached financial close in 2019.

Holly is known for her attention to detail, analytical expertise, and ability to deliver under pressure. She is a natural leader, mentoring junior colleagues and fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Beyond her professional contributions, she is an integral part of Operis’s culture, serving as co-organiser of the company’s Bake Off, helping build a strong sense of community in the workplace.
