Christopher Wright, DPhil

Christopher Wright, DPhil started his career with Agilia in 2018, having previously worked in research at the University of Oxford. He was appointed as a Director last year, and leads Agilia’s work in the energy sector, including with the Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station.

Chris embodies the future of infrastructure leadership, combining intellect, work ethic, and a deep understanding of people and communities.

At Agilia, he leads a team of 30 professionals across diverse disciplines and supports in mentorship for the next generation. As Energy Sector lead, he combines his STEM passion with addressing climate change and energy security. Chris is committed to developing future infrastructure professionals and maintaining projects' social licence to operate.

Since 2019, he has been pivotal to the Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station project, ensuring its investability and regulatory compliance, and has quickly developed expertise in funding models, finance raising, and transformation. He played a crucial role in securing the Regulated Asset Base (RAB) Model for new nuclear financing as part of the Government’s Energy White Paper and subsequent Energy Security Strategy
